Thank you all Apparently he was just about to jump on my eight year old greyhound x whippet Amy (rehomed from Cayla much to my delight!) - Amy said the equivalent of 'Woof woof' and Hoover changed his mind about jumping on her....

He is also known as Tomsk - all brawn and no brain

Lovely photo. Sash, my old lurcher, would only play if no one was looking and sometimes she would go and nick a soft toy from the childrens room, take it onto the lawn and pounce on it, just like that. Never managed to get a camera near her though - good pic!
