This is so sad is anyone looking for an older dog?

FFS, when you are still mourning the loss of an oldie, this sort of thing really gets you.:( Poor old soul, would be wonderful if someone did come along for her, but otherwise I hope they do the responsible thing.

I've been going on to OH about her all morning, even he agrees that its horrible. Was hoping there might be someone here nearby who might have her. Its the mention that she doesn't need walking too which upset me I can't imagine parting with any of mine theres an awful lot that would go first including the horse!

Is anyone on here local to them? We're more than willing to take her in but won't be able to drive that far after work (will take abt 2 1/2hrs in the truck) For some reason my work phone won't ring that number and my mobile is at home :(

She look identical to my old Goldie, she lived to the age of 16 blind but very happy. Still took her out on short walks everyday, when she couldnt manage them was we decided to pts.

Poor dog as thats when you need the love and comforts of a family the most.

I've left messages but so far nothing - before it was going straight to answerphone now its just ringing out

Just tried ringing the number in case it had a problem with withheld numbers or anything - same as Zalacca, she either cuts the call off without answering or lets it go to answerphone. Nasty cow cant even be bothered to field calls about the poor dog :mad::mad:

Ohhh I've just seen the rest of this thread! I forwarded the link to my sister as she's only a 40 mins away and she's very interested also, hopefully they'll call someone back. Or better yet, move into a bungalow!

Lets hope she has already found a nice new home for the old girl and this is the reason she is not answering her phone. Not that she is just a t***.

Think all of you who are willing to take her on are just plain lovely people :)
