This is soooo stressful!

People are weird. She could have left a deposit. She didn't. You told her you were going ahead with viewings. She was willing to risk losing the sale so she can't have been that bothered. When we viewed Dolly there was another viewing that afternoon. I was very clear that I would do whatever I needed to do there and then so she would cancel the viewing and Dolly would be secured. If you want the horse you buy it then and there. End of. I was all for popping Dolly in the boot!!!

Ignore Lady A or just reply saying "As I explained I would continue with viewings as Blitz remained available until a deposit was paid and a contract signed which has now been done."

Then ignore any further correspondence. And I agree I think Lady B sounds MUCH nicer. I would not want any horse of mine going somewhere he might be ridden into the ground anyway.

I received a lovely message from lady B last night, the general gist being « his field is all ready for him and I can’t wait to get him home. Confirming pick up Saturday morning. Can you please let me know what size rugs he takes, and what size bit and bridle. Please give him a big hug from me when you see him next. »

I have my fingers crossed that everything works out well.
If this had been written two weeks ago I'd have thought I was Lady B, lol! Those were the exact questions I asked and even collected Saturday morning!😂

She sounds like the ideal person person A had the choice to leave a deposit she chose not to, that's her loss and tbh it screams of time waster, if I was looking at horse and wanted it I would have the means to leave a deposit there and then to insure I got the horse.

Perfect, absolutely perfect. I’d be so pleased if I’d sold my horse to this person :)

Aw, Lady B, she’s the right mummy. Lady A wasn’t keen enough, I feel, and poor Blitz may have got dumped at a later stage. Well done, now go and celebrate a good outcome and stop worrying about Lady A, she will meet her ❤️ soon.

They sound lovely. I hope it all goes well.
You have to learn to not care about upsetting them! You made it clear.
When I sold my pony a few years ago I had about 5 viewings in 5 days and they all wanted her! Which was nice but also meant I had to chose and let people down. But It was the final viewing where she could not stop grinning and wanted her so badly that when I said I would get back to them the next day as I had to decide her face said it all- so desperate to have her. She also invited me to view the yard (which I did) and I dropped her there the next week.
