So, about two weeks ago I was ready to give up riding after seeing a video of me having my lesson. I'm coming up to my stage 2 exam soon and before I saw the video I thought I was OK(ish). I felt sorry for myself for a while and the good people of Horse and Hound Forums soon knocked some sense into me so I decided to do something about it. I went onto Amazon and searched for some good books that would help me sort out my vises. Yesterday "100 ways to improve your riding, common faults and how to cure them", by Susan McBane arrived. I read the sections on my faults and did what she said and it was like an epiphany moment! I have begun to sort out my rocking in the canter, my rising too high in the trot AND turning my legs outwards - IN ONE LESSON. I've spent more money than I have sense on lessons but this book has done more than ALL of them.
I'd be interested in anyone else's BEST BOOKS EVER?
By the way I am not Susan McBane or Amazon
