This is THE saddle!

I just think it looks hideous lol. Proabably because the back of it looks so similar to a Reactor.

And my thoughts about Reactors are known to all by now.... :p

Ayla - £2750 I think it said!

I like the idea of it. I don't like the look of it. Would I blow the cash on it? Yes, if it was for a horse that I would have for a long time, they would refit it for free/cheaply everytime the horse changed shape (which lets face it is a lot) They are about £3000, which isn't excessive in my opinion if it does what it says on the tin. My big worry would be the gap between the horse and rider component, and how much crap would get lodged in there

Possibly one of the ugliest saddles I have ever seen------- that said if it was a great saddle to ride in and i didnt need to get a mortgage for it, i would overlook the uglyness!

Not a very nice looking saddle. However I know someone who tried it out and said it was the most amazing saddle she has ever sat in. As the tree is made for the horse and the seat is made for the rider, she said her horse went better in it than any other saddle she has tried! Completely non-restrictive and the horse moved as if there wasn't anything on it's back!

Shame it's a bit ugly and too expensive!

My friend has one and swears by it. She events in hers and says it is amazing!

I have never ridden in one and tbh I am put off my what it looks like. They looks a bit like WOW saddles which I have ridden in and hated. Plus don't have the money, plus nothing wrong with saddle I already have.

I have ridden in both the dressage and jump version and i cant say i like it at all!
I felt like i was miles away from the horse and the jump version had a really weird seat which had pointy bit that dug into my bum (its well padded so must have been bad!)!! Really not a fan tbh!!!

I'm really interested in these saddles as the concept makes so much sense but would like to see more pliance testing etc and see how they stand up after a few years of use.

if i got it fitted and the horse improved with it i would look at getting one- they aren't much more than some of the 'posher' traditional saddles and as it can be changed totally shape wise you could have a saddle for life, even if you change horses every year.

I would much rather get a Wow saddle (which is what i have!) You have a saddle for life with one of those aswell and its nearly £1000 cheaper, but still expensive at around £1800!!

I like the idea - not the colour, a bit to bright for me! But I can see that would be good for the larger rider, as if I read it right they can change the shock absorption of it etc? In a way though, you would effectively have one saddle that could last you a lifetime.........Well it would have to at that price!

I too like the concept. But having visited their stand at hickstead I was very disappointed. Mainly due to the scripted pitch they gave me before turning and walking off before I could ask any questions or ask for a sit on it. :s

Would be interested to see how they turn out when more people have them.

I 'tried' to have a look at them at a trade stand (can't remember where). By the time the gentleman on the stand had finished gassing to a very nice looking woman(!) I had almost lost the will to live - she was only off another stand and I realised they were just nattering, then he couldn't answer any of my questions about the fit and function. So I gave up
