When u win a horse box on eBay! For £300!!!:D ok it needs some work, but that can all be done, if not it'll be all good for a tack room:D I have a problem and need to go se someone about my shopping addictions.l.l.:o

I have eBay issues too, it's a modern addiction. Fortunately I have recently discovered the extra excitement of selling.

Weirdest impulse buy ever, I left the house to get Hoover bags (those things we had before Dysons came along) and came back with a goat called Bluebell!!

OOh.... can I join the confessional impulsive purchase group please? :o

Been saving up to buy a nice, sensible riding pony with a proven track record of safety due to having a few wibbles lately (those menopausal hormones have a LOT to say for themselves!!) Last weekend I bought a pretty little ex-gypsy tri-coloured mare... who is 10 months pregnant! :eek: Am now cramming like mad as this will be the first foal for me (her third thankfully so at least one us knows what they're doing!)

ha ha I love it!! I can't seem to keep my hand down at auctions and ebay is a nightmare - I bid on stuff cos its cheap - I don't need/want it but its cheap!!!!!!!!!
although I did once go to buy a horse and come back with 2 kittens instead so that was a bit better!!!

This makes me feel better :D :D :D

Went for... a drink with a friend, bought an apartment;

Went for... a Sunday afternoon walk, bought a mountain bike;

Went for... a book, bought a rather smart suit :cool:

Hope the horse box is grand :D :D

I went out on saturday to take my parents to the football - intending to buy nothing and not even going near any shops.

I came back with a mutli-pack of likit treat bars, a buff, a pair of gloves, a hat-cover, and TWO pairs of gaiters (because I couldn't decide between black or brown).
I don't need ONE pair of gaiters, nevermind two!!
I very often go to the corner shop at lunchtime for a sandwich and come back £20-30 poorer, and without a sandwich!

LOVE LOVE LOVE ebay. Im terrible I buy all sorts of things in horsey tack shop sales which I think will do well on ebay and sell them on - whatever money I tot up in my paypal account is then used for horsey purchases :)

Incidentally I did go to our local horse sales auction once to get a bag of carrots as at the time it was the only place I could find them and came back with a 3yo tb off the racetrack whoops!

It's funny how addictive ebay is isn't it? I always told myself that if I was bidding for anything, I would bid to what I think I should pay for it and no more, walk away, wait until after the end of the auction to see if I've got it. In reality (and a telling reflection of my very competitive nature) I end up rashly banging in more money every time I get outbid!I mean; how very dare they!!:D

I just cleared out a load of odds and ends and put them on eBay in the hope of making some money, but then promptly emptied the paypal account on more expensive stuff - although I did manage to get a pair of ariat bromonts cheap, which I wouldn't have been able to buy otherwise... I now get in a panic when the postman arrives trying. To conceal my purchases from my weary hubby... Why don't I just go to the tackshop, that way I could just smuggle them in to the tackroom without him knowing...!

Its part of the eBay thrill, that's what it is!

I once went to look at a pony with a friend - and came back with a 15.1hh, 6 year old leopard spotted appaloosa x tb!!! How did that happen?

Oh gosh you sound just like me, there's been many a times though my OH has said what's that? And I'm like uhhhh one of your birthday presents, get away you can't see it:D or I say aaa it's (insert friends name here) she didn't want to have it delivered to her house because of her partner finding out:o:D

I once went to Watton Horse Sales, for a look, maybe some tack. Bought an 11hh pony off the back or a lorry lol. He was very cute, called him William.

I am terrible at impulse purchases, "just popping to get some bread" turns into some massive trolley load.... and I wonder where all my money goes.

Look at my rug collection! lol.

I promised OH that I would sell some items off, so had a sort out, and found 5 things to sell hahaha!!! Whoops... no cant part with that... or that... might need that one day.

I have a 25 bag hand bag collection..... why??? No idea, and Im currently using a £6 one I bought at primark.... so why all the expensive ones??? hahaha
