I am trying to get insurance for my boy, and he was at a yard where due to the stafs fault, and the fact they would call the vet BEFORE me, my horse is now excluded for Colic, anything to do with breathing and possibly his feet!
He only had colic as they put him in a LUSH paddock full of Dockins when I instructed he was to be in starvation.
He had breathing issues as he was kept in a field with a horse who had an undiagnosable persistant cough - and buttercups!
His foot was because they had to go past a building site (YO new house!) to get to field and tehre was stuff lying about. It was only like 3-4mm and didnt go into the foot enough to doanything - yet they still treated him like it had.
And the headshaking which was from stress of being in a group barn for over 2 months with No turnout (that was a diff yard).
Is there any point insuring him for vets fees?? Or at all really?
