disgusting-why oh why!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you dont have the patience dont have a youngster!!!! Poor thing-looks like a crappy badly fitting saddle too-going to have a bad back by the time its 3 and actually ready to be SAT ON!!!! Not even as if it is a quick grwoing breed like a tb- but looks to be quite cobby so wont mature until 5 or 6 for gods sake!!!
Some would argue nothing- but I would say that whats the point? why do it to him? He's not in good condition/being hauled in the mouth and the tack is't looking good either. They have done it to get an extra couple of hundred. If he is as sane as they say there would have been no harm in waiting another year. I'm sorry but having been through the devastating effects of backing early (not intentionally- wrong passport- eventually recieved new one that told me horse was only rising 3) I would never ever work a horse under saddle under 3 years.
Ok folks, it may not be to anyones taste but at the end of the day H&H are here to make money and they're unlikely to turn ads away.
Yes, the people are stupid but there isn't a lot any of us can do about it and I'm not condoning them in any way but short of going and buying the pony there's not much any of us can do about it.
But,but it is only £995......seen as a bargain by some that will be just as clueless and stupid to buy it!
TBH I think this sort of advert should be vetted as this sort of pony will end up in the wrong sort of hands sadly!

I totally agree that they are muppets, but what is the difference between that and racing a 2 yr old?!

Alot actually- tb's mature physically much much quicker, whereas cobs bone density much thicker so takes alot longer for bones to mature to same extent.
I saw this earlier today! Wasn't there a similar post not that long ago? Also saw a little 2yr skewbald sports horse with some prat sat on it, can't find it now though. Poor horseys
Poor little man .....H&H really should not take ads like this
I would never buy a 2yo that had been ridden, too many problems likely in later life. I can't understand why people have to rush to ride youngsters, especiallly this chap who is in poor condition anyway, the saddle clearly doesn't fit either, I am inclined to think that the P in brackets on the ad stands for pikey!
