This makes me so angry!!

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

sorry but...

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Better all give up now everyone, Here Is The Wise Old Sage Of Olde, who know MUCH MUCH more than us local yokels.....

Let me spell it out...

The....rider.....broke.....the......rules......which.....are....put....in....place....for.....the....protection...of.....the....horse....

Is it clear enough for you yet? Or are you going to tell us you are an Olympic gold Medallist in the Equestrian world, therefore you have the right to beat a horse over a jump like that?

Well said.

"There was no alternative behavior he could have shown between when the beating started and the jump that would have made the beating stop. That’s when you know you’re wrong. Morrissey should have known it — and should never have done it. He’s no beginner, he knew better, and I hope he does get some formal discipline for this."

Says it all for me, plus 3 strikes and your out, whats the point of rules if they aint enforced

I can't find the right article, but (apparently the rider in question was still ranked 35th after disqualification?!), any horses he owned or part-owned were disqualified, he was forbidden from riding or even attending any registered USEF shows, and was also fined a good few thousand dollars.

Now THAT is how to enforce the rules!
