I am sorry for the overload of posts today but Daisy and this foal means a lot to us.
I can't get over how amazing this photograph is. She is amazing and I can't wait to meet her properly in 2 weeks.
She is so proud of her baby and we are so thankful we have a happy healthy mum and baby.

That is a lovely picture. What an adorable little foal.

It would seriously freak me out if my mare had an unplanned pregnancy but I can see that in the end it is thrilling. A gorgeous little present out of the blue!

They had a bit of confusion with feeding but they have it sussed now, I can't wait for the other horses to meet the little one, they're going to go mental especially our over inquisitive mule who will no doubt go parading up and down the fence line snorting at foalie for a few days

Not a surprise just shouldn't have happened! Can't say too much but we're a rescue and she was rehomed/loaned ten years ago and taken back last year when they broke contract by letting her get pregnant
She is 18 and was a maiden mare so we are just so happy they are both happy and healthy

Yes just happy to have her with us so we can look after them both
