This quote made me think...true or not?

A friend posted this on facebook today, kind of made me think.
Not saying this is always true, but I do know for certain that my behaviour does affect my mares.
In lots of situations, if I kept calm/rode her differently/didnt let my nerves get the better of me.....she would most definately behave better.

I don't really get the first bit, but the second bit is certainly true.

If the horse is not doing what the rider wants, there is only one at fault and it's not the horse!
