this stupid weather!

This unpredictable weather is doing my head in!
Poor Blacky needs clipped - she gets clipped in the summer solely because the flies annoy her and she has a skin condition where she gets dandruff-like flaky skin, especially around her legs.
Other Sunday it was warm and she kept stamping her feet - this normally leads to her grazing/cutting her legs as she itches them with her feet.
YM said she'd try and get her clipped last week, but last week it was chuckng it down and it's really cold!

We need the weather to warm up first!
I'm assuming you will join me in hoping the weather heats up and it starts to become more like June!

have you checked for mites and used frontline on blackys legs?my cob itched and stamped but it stopped straight away with this product.
yes nightmare weather.my diet patch is a sea of mud but drying out as i speak.

Argh tell me about it!! bring on the summer, im not impressed with the fields being a bog again, and tillys fluffy feathers are now mud sponges which flick mud everywhere.. Not nice!!

Weather is a bit better here today!

Managed to go out for a lovely 2 hour hack without getting wet!

Looks like we are in for more showers soon though!

Yeah she's been checked for mites and stuff.
Vet said it was just a sort of really sensitive skin condition and not much we can do for her. It only bothers her in the summer when it's hotter and with the flies and stuff.

It's only rained a little here today though! and sunny now! doubt it will last though.
