I was in the vets with all my dogs, two of them puking choc all over the shop. I then came home and posted on here about the awful chocolate incident!...that was the start of a very long week and I am so happy that I am now sat here watching xfactor with all four dogs back right where they should be and little Milo well on the mend. He managed a walk with the girls today, I carried him most of it yesterday but he walked for an hour all on his own today (on lead so he couldnt hoon) :D :D
You guys were all really supportive, thanks so much. How wonderful to have a happy ending to share with you all. I looked back through my posts on thursday....they made me cry, it dawned on me all over again how close I was to loosing my boy and made me feel very lucky to not only have all my dogs still but also to have such a lovely bunch of people on here to have gone through all that with. I know how sincerely you were all routing for my little man to pull through, that means a lot. Thank you.
There have been some immense acts of kindness and community in this section of the forum recently.....long may it continue. Well done to everyone for being so fab! :D

I am going to start a little campaign actually CC, I was amazed at how many people said to me they didnt know that was true or hadnt even heard that choc was bad for dogs. If I had not known how serious it was they had eaten it I would certainly have one dog less sat here now :( With xmas coming up I think its really important people are aware of just how dangerous chocolate is, it frightens me that so many people do not know.

I am soooooo pleased that Milo is (almost) back to normal and you have all your mutts with you safe and sound.:)

You read a lot of posts moaning and bitching about people on here but I think there are some genuinely nice people who do care and mean what they say.

Enough of the slushy stuff and get the wine out.....;):D:D

Well this is just it, I had two people say (whilst my dog was in ITC) they thought it was a myth!! This is very worrying to me!! When I rang vet and bundled my dogs in car none of them were showing any clinical signs...I still very nearly lost my boy :(

*reluctantly opens the second most expensive bottle* the vet had the most expensive one *offers bottle around* None for Cayla though she will be prattling on about flaming monkeys again!

**Holds out glass**:D

How are you doing on the 'finding a fridge lock that the Masked Fridge Raider, aka Tilly, can't open' front?

its impossible spuddy! I have moved water into dining room and put high up locks on the kitchen door, she cant go near it when Im out now!

No its proper stiff isnt it?! I cant with my hand that I just had the op on, my finger isnt strong enough!
Im considering this as an option but need to find someone to train her as I already appear to be behind her level of acheivement!

Its good to hear that all your dogs are ok now and Milo made such a good recovery. I have a cross breed called Tilly and you just say the word chocolate and she is at your side looking for the stuff. Luckily after being educated on here my dogs no longer have chocolate although Tilly has managed to locate a christmas present of Thorntons chocs before in the past and eaten the whole box! I was horrified!
