we are featured in a small artical in this weeks hh along with a friend of ours .there is even a small pic , sadley not a happy event but never been in before ,its on page 9 about unpaid prize money we should have had from last year £800 but we only got £200 should have had the rest in 3 monthley payments of same but organisers saying there is no money to pay us ha well thats life , we are the one on the right black sec d . other girl is who i share my yard with we are both gutted as we had plans for the cash this season.
 
I'd heard about this through the grapevine before the article (I missed the Yorkshire Post one too) - I think its awful for you

Is it correct that you don't have to pay to enter the bursary comp though? If you did have to pay you could go down the advertising standards route as featured in H&H about a PUK championship (I think in the summer)...

Will your riding club be affiliating to the champs this year?
 
we are already afiliated to it but have been told it may not go ahead. they say the problem was that they finished up out of pocket with the show at bishop burton and the harrogate one didnt make enough to cover the loss , they claim between the two shows they are left oweing 12k a figure i find hard to believe considrering the high entries at harrogate however the show cost a tremendus ammount to put on but even so 12k deficit is a lot , the problem was that when we e aa,iled asking why we hadnt recieved the money they didnt reply so after several months my friend contacted the paper and hh they did then get in touch and say they would pay it just to send bank details so at that time hh didnt run the peice but when 2 months down the line we still hadnt got it they trid contacting her again but she failed to responed and then informed us there wasnt any money and of the 12k deficit i feel bad for them as well as us but why didnt they come clean straight away and why did they advertise this years show so soon after last years if it all went tits up and left them all in debt i just dont know what to believe ,that said the show was fantastic and will be a shame if they cant hold another one cant remember wether we paid for the class or not .did you go to the show
