Morning everyone so sick of this wheather , would rather it be cold and dry then absolutely torrential rain ️ like it is today

hoping to get out on friday but looking at this awful whetaher ???not sure now

can we swap? (not torrential but I can ride in the rain)
saw the slight rain yesterday thought the previous night's salt was a waste of money, planned the morning's riding and then walked out onto the yard and thought thank goodness I put salt down

Same today, we are going nowhere. Roads like a skating rink. Beautiful sunny perfect riding day makes it worse.

We've had endless days of grey wet air which permeates the ground making the mud deep and sticky. The only reprieve was the afternoons of bright sunshine, interspersed with icy rain, which makes the roads deceptively slippery. December has been unusually cold this year.
Just hoping for a spell of dry, crisp, bright days to keep the mud monster cleaner and the ground firmer under foot.
