Thoroughbred calmer

hey, ive been looking into calmers for my 2 year old throughbred, she isnt really nuts, she is generally quite chilled, just very sharp + quite anxious. i decided to try global herbs throughbred calmer as it is supposed 2 take away the anxiousness. Has anyone had any dealings with this calmer? and how did you find it?
 
Takes a few monhs, but once taken charge, is a little better.

Do not expect immediate effects, and as said before not a miracl cure, just takes the edge off
 
Sorry, I don't have a TB (never would agan after my last nut job - but that is another story!) but I use NAF magic on my ISH, it does the job, just takes the edge off his nerves.
 
Mine is a gelding and we used naff calmer and this, both with equal effects, so we tolk naff as seemed to be more natural
 
Mine is a gelding, defo a big difference in his behaviour, he is less stressed now, I give him an extra shot before I take him anywhere and it just takes the edge of him as he can be highly strung.
 
i looked at NAF magic calmer + was going to try it till i heard about this one. this one has less magnesium in it, but more herbs to help with anxiety. im just hoping it wont take too long to work as she has a big show in 2 months time + it would be nice to have her more chilled 4 that!
 
I used equine americas magnitude and am sure it had a effect on my TB (before the mares came into season but thats another thread!)
I have tried a few and this seems to be the only thing so far i can say helps a bit.
Magic did nothing- he's on that at the moment and currently the worst ever- but each horse is different and several friends swear by magic.
Magnitude is very very cheap so maybe worth a go?
 
NAF Magic is fantastic for my TB, he works better, is better on the ground abd better at competitions (dressage) it has really made a big difference. And he seems alot happeir generally.
I am a bit dubious re the global stuff as its not made in this country and has no igredients anywhere, and i compete affiliated.
 
Yeah, worth a go not wasted a whole load of money if its no good! I will definatly go back to it once my magic is all used up.
I also tried valerian cordial which i think the sell in Robinsons very cheaply (but is banned from competition) not sure it did much again but is another cheapy one to try out
 
Global herbs are about to start printing the ingredients on the packaging (or at least thats what they told me the other week) but I can highly recommend the TB calmer, it really makes a difference to my TB where the magnesium based ones make him worse.
