Recently bought a ottb & can’t seem to find anything on google about the marks & scars they get! Does anyone know of any supplements or creams to help the hair grow back?

I've had mine for a month and all the bald bits he came with have been slowly filling in with fluff again. I think just generally giving him a reasonable diet (mine has grass nuts, balancer and a bit of linseed) will help the coat. I've put a bit of cornucresine on the bigger scrapes but I'm not sure that it really makes a difference, it's more that I have it lurking in my lotions & potions shelf!

yes mine seems to have general scrapes and scuffs from turnout, those are the ones that are getting a nice bit of fluff again now. I'm hoping when he changes his coat they will all vanish.
He also has some permanent scars which we are stuck with but fortunately not too many.

I didn't know you had got a new horse. What's he like? Any photos 😊

I have some stuff called wonder gel it's meant to help hair growth I think it does a bit and it can be used for minor skin conditions, one of my horses has a few tiny scars along one side of his body occurring before I had him and I have never been able to get hair growth on those, you can only see them when he has his summer coat as they are quite small, I think sometimes the hair just never comes back.
