Quite a controversial topic it seems. So do you like your hotblood tb types or your coldblood cob types? Will be interesting to see the majority opinion on this

I have a thoroughbred but if I were to get a second horse i'd definitely go for a cob type!

I love my indestructo cob, he's so easy to look after and is such a lovely temprament and so laid back and straightforward to ride :)

Saying that my sister's self harming ex-racer is such gentleman if it weren't for the fact that he's quite high maintenance in upkeep - i.e is always hurting himself on fencing and drops weight ridiculously fast if you don't keep an eye on him - he'd be perfect for me...

In a perfect world I would have one of each. ;)

Lost my TB in January and been left with my wayward Sec D, who I love to bits, but still totally yearning for another TB :/

I have owned both, had a cracking TB mare many years ago who was a lovely laid back mare, but always had a majority of cobs, Welsh D's and Traditionals, and I adore cobs, though Shils will be most dismayed, but equally not surprised! :D I adore Cobs *covers Shils ears with hands*

I prefer thoroughbreds personally but don't mind a nice 'sporty' cob.

You can't beat the stamina of a thoroughbred rounds the hills here. All my friends cobs don't stand a chance against my horse and they're fit, trim hunting cobs.

I won't be giving up waiting at the top of the hill for them to catch up anytime soon ;)

Both :)
I have one of each and love there different points. Love the cob that he is cheeky but safe, can take him anywhere. Before he ANSI retired due to arthritis he would do a decent dressage test and jump anything despite not being the fastest.
My new tb mare can be quite stressful in stable, self harmer and has to jump everything massive but she is great to ride, not much phases her when you ride and the speed and effortless paces I love :)
Can't possibly decide between the 2 :)
