My TB was always the stressy sort, got her in July 09 and tbh didnt have much weight on her going into the winter, she had several bouts of colic and looked like a HAPPA case, had to bring her in and it wasnt untill last summer that she really blossomed. She kept her weight throughout the winter and still looks better then ever today. She is now 6 but due to spinal changes she is currently off work till next spring then i will see how she is. Shes been so much better since shes been out again 24/7 for the past 3 weeks. Am hoping this winter she will live out with decent rugs and lots of ad lib hay, however if she looses the weight she will be stabled again.
