As we all know the market for horses is shocking at the minute with not a lot selling, however after advertising two of my horses recently i was shocked by the responses, My 5 year old bombproof first pony who i had priced very cheaply due to the current climate never recieved a single call and it was only after i spotted a wanted ad i managed to sell him, however after advertising my 6 week old coloured colt 2 days ago (who has no registered breeding whatsoever)at a unrealistically high price i have been over-run with calls totalling 13 emails and 4 phone calls and as a consequence is now sold to the first person who came to see him (after i'd done a thorough home check lol) at our asking price! Very confused that in times of hardship there seems to be a market for foals who people have to keep for 3/4 years before they can ride, granted they can be shown etc but still! Anyone else have similar experiences? Tis a funny world!!
