Thorowgood Maxam Adjustable Gullet Saddle

I just bought this for my tb. Does anyone have any experience of it as a saddle, its a newish model as no fish inserts (they're scrapping the fish system apparently). Obviously inexpensive but does it wear relatively well for what it is? Hoping it might also work as a breaking-in saddle for Mojo next year...

I didn't realise they made Maxams with adj gullets -- must be a really new model?
They do hold well in my experience. I like them a lot as backing saddles!

Much much prefer throwgood to wintec.
Whilst yes its a cheap little saddle, its a GOOD cheap little saddle!
