My saddler has recommended a t4 high withered saddle for my horse, as current saddle is not a great fit.

I have just been to a large local store to have a sit on a new t4, and it seems to be comfy and had reasonable knee blocks.

Ideally later on this year I want to get out and do some BE on horse, so I really would prefer to get a jumping saddle.

Looking at thorowgood website, they do not do a high wither jumping saddle.

Any ideas for alternative brands?

I've found kent and masters to be very similar seat wise to the throwgood saddle I have. I've just ordered a new kent and masters a series and it has a nice deep seat and good knee rolls. I've ordered a gp but I'm pretty sure they do a jumping range and I know they do high wither in their gp range so could be worth a look. My saddler brought me an ordinary gp n s series the s series was far more comfy and I also found it held my leg in a better position. X

personally detested the K&M jumping saddle i got and wasnt much fonder of the T6 i had either. Neither were comfy or put me in a good or secure position. Not sure what the answer is , could you look for something 2nd hand?

If the issue is pronounced withers, have you looked at saddles with cutaway pommels? Al has an Albion Legend XC saddle on Reg and while it's not ideal for her (she likes it and it suits her, but she prefers monoflap saddles) it fits him well despite his mountainous withers! They seem to cost about £500 second hand...

High withers is not the problem - she does have maybe slightly higher than normal, but saddle fitter said that the panels on a high wither t4 will suit her better than the normal version
