Does anyone know what the diffrence between a griffin and a maxam saddle is? How would I tell which mine is it doesn't seem to tell me anywhere on the saddle.
Please help
Thankyou.
the only difference between the maxam and the griffin is I think the finishing.
the maxim is a basic leather look saddle but does come in all the fits the griffin does. The griffin has the gel seat and the suede look seat and panels.
Also the maxam has horrid smooth shiny girth straps which can and do crack...(had mine replaced by leather by a saddler)
Maxams have suede seats etc too (the newer old style ones). They are harder in the saddle flap than the griffin and are smooth where the griffin is a grainy finish to the flaps.
