does any one know if its poss to get new girth straps on these? the ones they come with are pants and seem to wear really quickly. do you reckon a saddler could put leather ones on???

yes a good saddler can put leather ones on.

Thats weird - I hate the leather straps on my treeless because they're already stetched and marked, while the synthetics on my thorowgood still looks like new after years and years! Anyhow, that doesn't help you, so I'll go now

Synthetic saddles can usually be treated exactly the same as leather ones when it comes to having bits replaced. I'm sure a good sadleer will have no problem replacing the girth straps

There would be absolutely no problem to do that.

I had mine replaced ages ago, also had long straps instead of short (personal preference).

I bought two a couple of months ago and the saddler recommended that I bring them back and he put leather straps on.
