Thorowgood T6 / T4?

Hi, has anyone used one? Have a thorowgood griffin cob at the minute and really love it but need it a bit wider! Would you recommend at T6?

(plus dones anyone have a 17" for sale? )

I've got a Thorowgood T4. I love it!

It's the hi-wither version for my Thoroughbred. It is really comfortable and the seat is very 'sticky' It is changeable with removable knee rolls so you can optimise comfort for you and your horse.

Is there anything you wanted to know specifically?

Thanks! Just the comfort really and if they recommend. Had a wintec for a while which felt really uncomfortable so just checking. Also, if anyone can compare the T6 to the griffin?

I've had both before and they are fabulous currently have the Kent and Masters version for my boy as I like them so much.

I have a 17" wide jump saddle if you're interested? Wasn't used much and is too long for my lad and previous horse didn't have it long.

I dont have one for sale. But i own a t4 at the min and before that had the t6. Theyve just bought out the t8 which is LUSH aswell

T4 is much comfier than t6 but t6 looks nicer IMO!!

I have a 17" T4 endurance for sale.....have got two different gullet sizes with it, red and blue from memory. It's the Jill Thomas one, with the fixed knee rolls. Damn comfy

T8?
I've got a 3 month old Cob GP T8 for sale (black, 17.5" currently fitted with the MW insert). Amazing saddle, but I would like a more VSD/Dressage one.

I've got a t6 cob gp, it's fab and would recommend them. I chose the t6 as I thought the suede on the t4 may look a little old and worn over time and was unsure if it got wet. Tbh I wouldn't even go back to leather now.
It is more comfy than my previous leather saddle, I do however ride with a seat saver (due to suffering a broken coccyx) but I have ridden in the t6 without the seatsaver, but I can't ride on a leather saddle without one!
Defiantly worth the money I'd say and the t6 never needs any cleaning

We have a T4 hiwither and I really like it, when hacking the sharp TB the suedey seat means you really just sit there

Ive just had a brown 17" high withered T4 delivered ... I had to wait as I didnt want black but well worth the wait and soooooooo comfy. You may have a few problems getting a new T6 in brown but I did see a second hand one on ebay for about £400.
