... suggest you take your wellies just in case, as I went today and the 'heavens' opened and opened and some areas its rather wet and muddy.

They have made a few improvements up there too..... new surfaced area in the funnel outside the Int'l main arena. Vets now have their own office too.

I must admit as I was getting soaked through bringing in a livery in her fly sheet who resembled a drowned rat I was quite glad I wasn't at Hickstead this afternoon in that downpour - except then it stopped, sun came out and everything started steaming!

I'll be attending tomorrow again....

The parking area where you exit was just covered in mud and some of the stalls (ie Yorkshire trading) even though they were covered were soaking.

Sounds like heatwave weather at the weekend though.
