Those easy plait thingies

Have you got a link for the things you're talking about?

They sent me some a few months ago, I was really cheeky and asked for some samples!

I used them for some affiliated dressage and they were dead quick and easy to use, nobody actually noticed they were different until I showed a couple of friends how they worked. They work best on a well pulled mane and my super keen dressage buddy thought they looked naff but I thought they were bloomin convenient

They look really interesting, but reading the instructions on the link, they look 'faffy' and I wonder how much quicker than actually plaiting they can be!

Yes you could use them to 'tame' unruly manes.
You don't have to plait the mane and don't need bands. You will need one of those hairdressers springy comb things to hold the spare mane out the way while you 'plait'.

To use you just divide the mane and damp it in the normal way. You then take a section of mane and pull it through the hole in the middle of the Easyplait loop. Leave the loop at the base of the mane and twist the section of hair to the bottom keeping hold of it in one hand. You then use the other hand to slide the loop nearly to the bottom, squeeze it to clamp the section and roll it up to the top, finally folding the ends over tightly on themselves.

Put it this way plaitiing with thread takes me 40 minutes to do nicely, with bands 30 and with Easyplait 10!!

I got them to use on cold mornings when the last thing you wnt to do is stand around for 30 minutes with cold, damp, numb fingers

I just phoned them and will not send out any more free samples as she said quote "we sell 100's of these's every day and NO you can not have any free samples to try". now you can not buy these's in any tack shop ANYWHERE, as they make these's at home

They cost £9.99 for 12 of them and £3.50 post.
I would like to try them first... just one or two would be good.
