Newsflash from DVLA

In order to assist other motorists in identifying potentially dangerous drivers, it's now compulsory for anyone with a lower than average IQ and driving ability to display a warning flag.

The flag (a red cross on a white background) will be attached to the top of one door of any vehicle driven by drivers with a below average IQ.

Drivers of exceptionally low ability are required to attach additional flags to their vehicles.

:):D:):D:)

i don't mind the flags on the cars but i just know my horse is going to dislike them!!!!!!!!
your post made me laugh - i just read it out to my son - forgetting that his grandma has put one on her car☺☺☺

theres a man on my street whos painted his car white with a red cross on the bonnet. will try and get a picture in due course lol.

also has several flags on the outside, "red cross" furry dice and air freshner and god knows what else hes bought for it.

what a divvet.

Lol, very good. I like the one about penis size too!

Although I don't remember there ever being this issue previously? Over here, you find in a lot of areas people have GAA flags displayed on their cars.

i'm quite lucky that my horse is well used to flags. for some reason, there are several people in my area who display flags for many reasons - st george's day, d day etc etc. one such person lives backing onto our field and felt it necessary to display his flag to the horses and owners all year round. strange, but useful!! altho i hve to admit, i hve an england wind sock on my car and a nose. just to keep the kids happy though!!

You own a horse and you have something fluttering from your car? You do know the HHO forum police can actually have your horse removed and you shot for such an offence, don't you?! :p

I really don't understand those people who have a problem with them! I have hacked out the majority of our horses and seen hundreds of the things and not a single horse has even flinched at one!

Yesterday me and a friend passed a car with flags on, me on my 5yo and friend on her 6yo ex racer, did they care? Not at all.
