thanks everyone.
vet has said that ks not severe enough to operate at this point. they think he may have arthritic changes (apparently common with ks) and he may have damaged the ligament lying below the processes.
will find out more tomorrow and i have to ride him in an exam. great 2 days box rest and hasnt been ridden in 3 weeks. thats going to be fun.
