Discovered over the weekend, a few patches of the dreaded ragwort hiding under some long grass...

Soooooo decided to splash out and buy one from B and Q after seeing it a million times on the TV.

It cost £29 so I decided that it had better be good.....

There's a bit of a knack to it, but by 'eck, it's not bad at all!

Not much bending needed, and it works better on the smaller ones that larger plants...

Sure, could have used the rag-fork, but that plays hell with my dodgy shoulder.

Anyone else got one?

Ah yes, I've seen that advert and have been tempted by it. Do you think the tool would be strong enough to also tackle docks and buttercups, in hard ground?
My ragfork broke last year, and I've been weed pulling by hand, which is back breaking.

Ooh, that could be good . The old back wasn't too chuffed at ragworting the other week, even with a ragwort fork.

I've got one to taackle my thistles as I'm fed up of looking like a pin cushion!

You're right there is a knack to it but after about 20 mins I'd got the hang of it and now can't imagine going back to doing this by hand.

Would def recommend!

I'm sure it would do buttercups, as long as they are not the size of Triffids!
