Those of you on livery again.....

Too blinkin' early!

They start to come in at 2.30pm, but with 20 odd horses to bring in, most of whom are led individually, they have to start bringing in at that time to get everything comfortably in before it's dark

Currently my horse is still living out due to us having an abundance of grass but when he does start coming in he is normally brought in about 3.30 (when i get there after school) and then ridden/lunged before being snuggled up for the night in his stable

at weekends it varies more but usually about 4-4.30 as I ride in the morning

At the time I ask for, at the mo between 2 and 3pm, although they have instructions to leave him out till later if it is a nice day & he's happy grazing. If it's nasty weather he will start hooning around and getting his shoes off so I've asked that they bring him in at lunchtime when weather is bad.

Mine's still out 24/7. Yay for the yard!

When he has to come in, he'll come in when I get there, and not a second before - anything from 3-10pm usually.

On DIY. I bring mine in at approx 4pm, earlier if possible. She goes out early (6.30am - I get there at 5.45am, so she munches hay until it gets light enough to turn out!), so she's not standing in for too long, and she just hates being out "late". In fact, she'd like to come in at about lunchtime when she's a bit peckish!
