Those of you on livery...

Turnout is included in our costs.

The horses are fed at 8am and are out by 9:15am at the latest.

I would expect them to be turned out by 11am.

My last livery fed and turned out Mon - Fri. I was told that they were out by 9am (friend would walk past on the way to/from school).

I would be irked if they weren't out by 10am, especially now winter is here.

Tricky one! As early as possible TBH. I know that one of the liveries on our yard gets to the yard about 7am every morning so she feeds and hangs haynets for every horse that's in, so I know mine isn't stood with nothing to eat. YO usually gets there about 8am and starts turning out then, so he's out by about 8.30am unless he's going on the walker.

I'd want my horse out by 9am I'd say, though I don't mind if he's in a bit later as long as he has company and a haynet occasionally.

I'd expect my horse to be turned out by 8am at the latest really, although it depends on the size of the yard - obviously a big yard with a lot of horses to turn out, it will take longer than if there are just five or six to turn out. The absolute latest I'd accept would be 9am Monday-Saturday and 10am Sunday.

Turnout is extra, and if requested horses start getting put out from 8.00am onwards. I would be mortified if my horse wasn't out by 9.00am at the absolute latest.

Part livery with my very trusted YO so when she decided to put him out is the best time for him to go out. She makes decisions on when to keep in for bad weather etc perfectly fine without me sticking my nose in.

But I am aware I'm very very lucky to have such a good and nice YO.

God, I think the livery yard across form us turns out around 6-6:30am - they are certainly there feeding and turning out when we are doing ours on winter mornings and that's about 6am during the week! Think they come in about 3pm or so though although most are out 24/7 over there in the summer.

I expect my horse to be out by 9 although she's not normally turnout out until 10. I would consider anything after 10 a bit late considering she is in by 3pm.

Yes, my horse is out by 6.45 when I turn out myself.

I'm on DIY but YO does turnout in the mornings at a cost. She leaves for work at 8.30 3 days a week so they're always out by 8am then and about 8.30 on the other days as she has to get her little boy to school. Most of us take it in turns though and as we all work they're normally out by 7/7.30 depending on who's doing it. At weekends I go up early to turn my boy out before riding as he is very anti-social if he hasn't had his morning roll by 8.30 - he then comes back in at 10ish when we ride. It breaks my heart as he's grey so gets filthy again, but he's very Victor Meldrew without it. Others leave their horses in until then as they are far more tolerant of being in. If I paid for turnout I would want him out by 8.30, and certainly wouldn't want him still in long after others had been turned out. He comes in about 6.30 - 7 due to my work and his liking for being out and is happy in the field by himself, but not the stable.

by about 10am but my best friend is my yard owner and she does have 2 very small children and recently lost her husband, so i cut her a bit of slack if they are in for longer some days.......
Under normal circumstances, if i was specifically paying for someone to turn them out i would expect them to be out by 9.30 really.

Ours are all out by 9am latest. Fed between 7.30 and 8am, then there are 13 horses to be turned out. As long as she's out by 9 that's fine
