How much is your monthly rent? I'm hoping to rent a 3 acre field. I'd need to erect my own electric fencing around it and my own water supply and shelter etc. I'm in Newcastle.

Any idea of what I should offer per month? Many thanks :)
 
I have 5 acres with running water, have just built a field shelter and a storeage barn on hard standing and have full use of the farm tracks for riding, I pay £100 per month and Im in Herts (SE)
 
Hi I rent approx 4 acres. When i took it on we had to clear a huge amount of rubbish, remove old broken fencing and refence which we have done with wooden posts and electric as the hedges are fairly ok (take the cost of this into account, it was far more than i had expected) I have mains water which the field owner pays.
I got the first 6 months free in return for the clearing. I now pay £100 pcm which im pleased with. We built stables and formed a little fenced off yard with road scaplings as a base (actually very good!)
I guess its all area dependant, I'd never get this agian in my area im sure.
