Do you reckon decaf teabags will work? I have loads leftover from when I was pregnant (its vile stuff!!!) and it seems a shame to throw them out.

Cant see decaf vs non decaf would make any difference. I make fly spray using cold tea, someone said to me one day does it matter if its full fat or skimmed milk I used! And did I put sugar in it!

If it helps keep the flies off, then I don't care! It'll at least make the poo stains less obvious

I use cold tea in mine and so far, the grey cob is still grey
Although his tail is another story...

My recipe/bodge job;
About 200ml cold tea
100ml vinegar
1 teaspoon Citronella Oil
1 teaspoon Eucalyptus Oil
1 teaspoon Lavender Oil
Teeny bit of washing up liquid
fill rest with water and jobs a good'un (I have a 500ml bottle)
Seems to work quite well actually. I also rub the oil into the brow band of his bridle to try and keep the flies away from his eyes whilst riding
