How many times do you ride them each per week?

I currently have 2 of my own which are ridden only by me and sometimes I ride my mum's horse for her too, but just lately I haven't had the time as I have been busy with the other two!

Atm my main boy is being ridden about 4 times per week (mostly hacking and occasionally some schooling or jumping) and my mare is being ridden about three times per week. Both live out 24/7 atm. This is fine atm and I should be selling my mare over the next month but I can't help thinking what if I still end up having her over the winter because she hasn't sold how I will have enough time to exercise them both enough! My boy hunts over the winter so I usually ride him 5-6 times per week. I currently keep my mare at home so only hack her out anyway, and she lives out 24/7 so would probably try and continue riding her three times per week if it came to this.

What does everybody else think? I always feel bad if I haven't had time to ride them and they get more than one day off in a row (although I'm sure they don't mind!)

I've got 3, but have had to put one on loan due to lack of time. I work 9-5, Mon - Fri, so usually get to yard around 6ish. At the beginning of the week I try and do myself a rota for Mon-Thurs, so that one gets ridden and the other a day off, then next day both go on pessoa/lunge, then other gets ridden and 1st gets his day off etc. They have 1 day a week off each. Fri/Sat/Sun both can be ridden as not so fussed about time. Does that make sense, I confuse myself sometimes !

I work 12 1/2hr days 3 days a week one week and 4 days a week the next. If I'm lucky.....I'm doing 6 days out of 7 this week. On days though, thankfully.

I take my yard clothes to the yard, go straight there from work, and ride the first for 30-40 mins, then swap & loose school the youngster as shes not backed yet, but is a fatty.

Then poopick & muck out in the dark!!!

I've also got a broodmare, who is away at stud atm.

I moved to night shift so I had time to spend with mine as one is a happy hacker ridden 4-5 times a week and the other I hope to back this year so although not exercised needs a lot of handling etc.

I now have either 5 days or 7 days off in a row to work with them.

I have 4 horses. One is a yearling so thats easy, he is out. My mare is in full work and is ridden 6 days out of 7. I also have a gelding who is retired due to ringbone but I lead him out next to my mare twice a week. My other horse is a gelding that I ride 6 days out of 7 also and I work at least 40 hours a week over 6 days! I start work at 5am and finish by 1pm so that gives me the afternoons. I also poo pick, muck out 4 stables (they are in daytimes as they are fatties) and run a clear round sj at my place on Friday nights, oh and I usually compete most weekends! Mind you I fall into my bed by 7pm!

Like Moneypit - I'm often in bed before most normal people have had their supper :D But I've only got the two and one of those is semi-retired. The pensioner is ridden twice a week to keep her ticking over and interested and the other is ridden every day. The great thing is Im' self-employed so although I'm often doing a 50 hour week, I can be flexible with it.

Quite often used to ride and lead, mine got used to it as we would take them out like that twice a week with the other hunters.
