We have two dogs The jrt goes and sleeps in our bed all day. She won't even come out if someone comes to let her out at lunch time!! The other is a lab whom is in a kennel alone all day. Someone comes at lunch and lets her our for half hour. Bothe dogs with us all the time when we are home and both in all night. Both are happy. Wish I didn't have to work tho!!

I have two labs.

When we're out they have full run of the garden, and have their own shed.

Shed contains their beds, food and water.

Garden contains lots of toys and more seaty type areas for them to chill in :)

How secure is your garden? I would love to leave ours in the garden all day especially now the weather is nice. We could put his crate in the shed with bed etc. we are in a terraced house with gardens either side but there is a little path the goes behind our neighbours garden to a gate in ours. While the gate is full fence height and secure I have this fear someone could climb in and steal him!!! I would definitely rather he stayed outside though!

My retrievers are at my mum's house and I go and walk them generally at the weekend, Sunday is a regular obligation now but Saturday I can choose whether to do it or not. I used to do agility with them, now just doing a bit of obedience training with the younger one so. Sometimes its nice to have the chance to go and walk them round the block after work as its nice to destress with them. I work full time half six to half two pm

we have three dogs. Left 8am to 3pm every week day. They have the run of the downstairs in the house and also have a dog flap to allow access to the garden 24/7.

i answered "left at home alone" but i do have a house cat too ,does that count as co :)

mine does the horses in the morning then goes to bed (8.30am ish) till i finish work somewhere between 1 - 2.30 then does afternoon stables ,then goes back to bed :)
such a herd life ;)

Very. Brick wall all of the way round, except for two gates. Both of which only have the standard small space underneath them, so the dogs would have no chance of escaping. Neighbour on one side, driveway on the other.

They wouldn't climb in with one of my dogs present...!
