Hi all! Just a quick question regarding BOSS Horseboxes -
We're trying to decide between changing our current lorry for another 7.5t or downsizing to a 3.5t (yes - it would just be for the one horse at this stage so weight restrictions not an issue atm!). We have seen the BOSS boxes and think they look wonderful, and would be the ones we'd choose if going down the 3.5t route. However I just have a couple of questions for those of you who have them or have used them - they seem quite narrow, are they stable when travelling? Also, my horse is a very "active" traveller and really throws herself around at the start and end of the journey - i'm just wondering whether they can stand up to this kind of activity or whether it would be thrown very off balance etc?
Any other general comments would be great too!

Thank you x

I have one, its fab I take two out in it light tb type... Or big lad on his own. I have 1300 kg payload. It has movable partition and one horse I take to shows for a mate has to have it removed cos he likes travel with more space. I've never had a horse travel badly in my boss lorry. It's bigger than you think inside.

I have the XL version and travel my 16.2 boy in it. Have had no trouble at all, very stable and extremely strong. Before I purchased I hired one from a local transport company who use them on their fleet. They have 4 boxes and use them all the time with all sizes and shapes onboard. Talking to them convinced me of their strength when hearing of some of the scarey passengers they have had in their time. There are a brilliantly put together box and you should visit the factory to see them inbuild and chat with the team about any concerns you have, they are really friendly.

I have had mine nearly 3 months now and love it it is a joy to drive and so easy to handle having had a 6.5t before.
