How expensive are they??!?

Blue's mane was in dire need of pulling so went to pet shop to look for a cheap dog version, couldn't find one, ended up in the TACK shop where i found one for £17 !!!

Needless to say i bought a similar but cheaper thing for £7.

I ended up with a rather large pile of Blue's mane at my feet after sorting it out, it had got rather long.... think like um about 8-10 inches!!

Now much neater 3 or 4 inches

Thier only 9.99 on ebay, Ive had mine for 6 years so I think their worth it .

I think we just have a VERY expensive tack shop round here, i also got mugged into buying a headcollar for £12.... adjustable and with 'suede' on the inside of the noseband - as if furry foal will notice that!

Wishing i'd done a before and after photo of Blue's mane though

i got one yesterday from the tack shop it cost me 16.99. i did the kids ponies mane today and it looks good, much better then pulling it out

Sorry for hi-jacking...but can anyone tell me if it's similar to the "main" comb? (basically a comb with a blade in it so instead of pulling the hair out you cut it with the blade?

Oyster comb is the only way to go and I paid £22 for it , but its great especially for missy as she hates having her mane pulled and also great for pulling tails , wouldnt be without it .
