Those text messages about stolen horses

Ok so over the last couple of weeks I must have recieved about 20 or 30 texts about these suspicious vans and stealing of coloured horses.
I didn't actually realise that many horsey people knew me, I've got loads from people I go hunting with, pony clubbing and all sorts, I just found it really great what a good network of horsey people there is out there, I mean, how many people posted on the thread that they had recieved the same text message.

there is a article about horse theives on the teletext tonight for the north east on itv.
men have been seen in county durham taking photos etc of horses.

Me and all the girls in the hartpury area got these texts - lots of suspicion as to whether horses are going missing or if people are just acting suspiciously! however, precautions mean we've padlocked our yard gate and stables - health and safety issue i no! I'm glad theres a good network of riders out there!!

Update - on the stolen section of h&h forum - a horse in maisemore has gone missing, glos. So now I am fully in belief this is not a hoax and we need to be on the look out!!!
