Those that use stable rugs....

What ones do you use/recommend and what weights do you generally use? I have a cob x so want something to give him room on his shoulder set. Horseware don't fit him at all.

I like getting them all cosy in a stable rug in the winter!

I’m liking Ruggles and use their 50g with a fleece collar a lot. They fit mine really nicely although he’s absolutely not cob shape so not sure how helpful that is! I also have the 100g and 200g. They’re cheap and seem to cope with lots of regular washing.

Wetherbeeta have always suited my cob.

Swish do well for my cobs and they have 50g which is fine for "slightly tubby but it's cold in the stable" type nights.

Weatherbeeta suit mine the best in general. Mine is a WB-type TB with a massive shoulder

I've never had an issue - they do look a bit shiny when new but after a wash or two that's gone

Ok have PE combos and then lighter Weatherbeeta’s to layer underneath if needed
