Why does ‘George’ have to be pronounced with a bad French accent 😳 It has been the same since I picked him up, I have no idea why 😳

I took him shopping for more Kong toys today, I go back to work tomorrow after 2 very long months off so he has to have a new stuffed Kong toy every time my dog sitter visits to stop him yapping 🙄

It’s a good job I love him to bits already, I’ve not had a dog in a long time who has made such an impression in such a short time ❤️❤️❤️

Testament to your dog wrangling skills that le chien, George looks as though he has been with you his entire life!
Congrats on the new job too Levrier.
🐾😍🐾

Same reason all the whippet commands are in any risible attempts at lanugauges from countries I have lived in  He seems to quite like Gaelic, less keen on French :D
Still blantantly disobedient in any lanuguage you can think of other than 'Oi! You!'

reminds me of Geeeoooorgeee Maaaartiiiin from police academy! (Sorry!)

congrats on the new job too.

I always make up silly rhymes for my pets.

my pom is called Echo, and he is often called (cos he likes to go wrecking things lots) and Wrecky Ecky. I'd like to add him as one of garbage pail kids with that pet name.

I definitely find that all names go through a process before one sticks.. My old boy was called Jacob, which was then Jake, which was then Jakey, which then progressed to Jakey Bakey, and then finally arrived a Bakeface - which stuck.

Congrats on the new job! George looks so sweet too, I definitely have a soft spot for a terrier.

Congratulations on your new job!

Georges has certainly settled in well:)

Thank you PAS, George is now indelibly Georges in my mind 😂 I think it really suits him, I could quite see him with a striped tee shirt, a beret and a string of onions around his neck....

Which makes me concerned that I’m (a) hallucinating because I’m really tired, and (b) totally stereotyping which is a very very non-HR thing to do 😱😄

Thank you all very much for the congratulations about my new job, it’s such a relief but (because I’m sad!) it’s so rubbish leaving the hounds & G to go to work 🙄😊😊

I am very lucky in thast I only have to leave home to work 3 days a week, but I hate leaving the dogs to do it.
