Question for those who use shims to help the saddle fit- if you put shims on one side only, what happens on the other side? Do you end up with space btwn saddle & horses back & how do u overcome this?
Have ongoing major saddle fitting issues with my boy & have bought the nuumed shin half-pad to try help the fit. At the mo I've been using folded gamgee pad on 1 side which helps 2 an extent but other side has space btwn saddle & horses back so not ideal.
For some history horse is seen very regularly by saddle fitter who I've given benefit of the doubt to but now feel very let down by her as more physio has shown that my 1yr old & brand new (used 4 times) saddles have caused back problems. Saddle fitter is out nxt week for made-or-break chat
Just want 2 hear other peoples experiences
