I have a hitch lock that fits on whilst still hitched so that will be the first thing I do when I pull up and park

My poor elderly mother had to drive out with the spare set after they bounced out my pocket. Ooops!

I go out mostly on my own to comps, shows, pleasure rides and bought a locakble small 'cabinet' from Screwfix. I can leave everything locked away in the lorry and put the keys in there to be safe. I do put the code onto the details in an envelope if competing or training so that someone knows how to get into it.

Little update! So today, my son and I went to pick the trailer up from its storage. Lined it up and hitched it first time. Partner said he'd meet us back at the yard as I was worried I couldn't turn it round on my own. Beat him there and with the help of my 7 year old, he watched my back and we turned it around without needing help Partner soon arrived and tried to find some fault in what we'd done but couldn't

I loaded Betty up and we went for a 10 minute, round the block drive as she hasnt travelled in 2 years. She was absolutely fine but incredibly sweaty. She got a rub down, a fleece cooler and some treats.

YO has allowed me to leave the trailer on the yard this weekend as we are meeting a friend to hack tomorrow and have our first ever in hand little show Sunday.

Partner shouted/mansplained instructions at me as I reversed parked it up. I closed my window and did my own thing, parked perfectly! I think he was a little put out that I wasn't terrible at it

So tomorrow son and I are flying solo for our hack (10 minutes away with dedicated trailer parking) so will hopefully be OK! Will update tomorrow.

Today’s update, with pictures!

Had a lovely ride out at our local country park. Betty was still wet through travelling but loved her new freedom! My small human was incredibly helpful too

Tomorrow we are off to our local show!
