Do you use Equest to worm them? The rest of the yard are due worming with this and having ordered online it said at the bottom of it 'not suitable for donkeys' . Having googled this to find out more I find moxidectin is recommended for lungworm in donkeys.
I left a message at the vets to clear it up but they haven't got back to me yet so I thought I'd ask you good people who are the source of all knowledge.
What is the best wormer for lungworm in donkeys if Equest isn't suitable?

I have always wormed my donkeys with Equest because of its action against lungworm. While moxidectin is not licensed for donkeys, it is the wormer of choice for lungworm.

It isn't 'not suitable', it just hasn't been licensed to use on them.

I have used it on my donkey, after advice from an equine vet, with no ill effects.

You can use it safely. Most wormers - if not all - are safe for donkeys but have not been tested to be registered as it is too exoensive.
