What size is your wagon and what is your payload?
We are going to PX our 7.5 ton for something bigger, we can not legally carry 3 unless one is under 12hh!!!

I have a 13t Ford Iveco, it weights 8t unladen...well with tack, full tank of diesel, water 3 people dog etc! and carrys 4/5, that was the reason we upgraded! been the best wagon ever sails MOT every year, never fails to start, and gives a much smoother less sway ride for the horses! hope this helps :D

Thankyou, that's very helpful! We currently have Ford Iveco 7.5 ton which is a fab box and was great while we had two horses, numbers have increased so need something bigger.....
Does yours have fitted living?

Dont forget your tachograph bit of a pain but its serious if you get stopped and no card in blush!!!!.. however have you considdered a chassis swap if your box is ok you could get a 10 or 12 ton chassis simalar size but would gain 2.5 ton payload...

It may also be worth checking your existing box to see if it actually can be uprated. Ours is a 7.5t but it was downgraded from 11t prior to us owning it. Hence we can only legally carry 2 despite it being a big box partitioned for four.

eta: ours is also a Ford Iveco

Yes thats a good point there are a few out there that have been down plated .... look for anything that has 8 stud wheels they are the heaver axles and they and springs are mostly the only difference between a 7.5 and a 10/12 tonner... then a bit of paperwork and back to the full weight ...
