Those with horses at home.....

fed rugged and out 5am ish always out before 6am (dogs need out by then!)
in when ever it suits me - can be 3pm or 7pm fed and rugs changed
bucket of chaff about 10pmish and top up haylage skip out if husband is working then its lights off then too but sometimes if he is home he will go down later and check them and put lights off and he gives them sugar lump each! when he lets the dogs out last thing
mine only have a routine in the mornings as i am always up early so like to get them out for as long as poss - i prefer them out longer than they are in, saves mucking out so much and better for them

So here's what I do:

8.00 a.m. feed & turn-out after. If frosted ground, some hay.

12.00 midday'ish. Look to see all OK

3.30/4pm (when it gets dimpsy) bring in for the night, feed, hay

10.30 pm: check - water/hay & replenish if necessary + skip-out. Check rugs & check not too hot/cold and change if necessary.

I ride either in the morning or more usually in the afternoon.

I think late-night check is important as then you know they're all OK for the night.
