Do you ever consider what happens with the horses if you split up? For instance if you share one of them. What happens with transport you own between you and who stays at the yard if you don't own where you keep them?
Would you expect horses to struggle at being separated from long term friends?
How friendly would you stay with an ex for the sake of the horses?

Its a horrible thought, but I guess should be considered.

My horse would stay my horse, the yard is on my parent's land and I paid for it all to be built, so the yard would perhaps stay mine, but I couldn't look after my horse without hubby doing her when I'm away, so she would have to go on livery I bought hubby's horse for him as a present, so he would be his and his son's, who share him anyway. Our two horses love each other as much as we do, so yes they would be sad to split up. To be honest, the dogs would be the hardest thing to split - we have a great system where I am around a lot mid week, he is around weekends, and my dad lives next door and lets them out when I'm away. Without all three of us their lives would be wors, plus one dog adores me, the other adores hubby but they also adore each other!!

Hopefully we will never have to cross that bridge!!
