I am really surprised by this my mare is 20, I have had her since birth and obviously her mother before her and neither of them ever had this problem they were both always very clean in that area. Worrying now incase mine aren't normal.
No I think its normal that they don't have a problem.
My mare has had one foal and she has shrunk her bits back to normal. Just like women, some will suffer from body issues more than others!
