If your sharer became pregnant and wanted to continue riding,

a) would you let her? and
b) how would you protect yourself legally should there be any accidents?

Hmm, tough one, if I was pregnant again I personally wouldn't ride but i think it depends how good a rider you are and how safe your horse is. It wouldn't be your fault is she did fall, she takes that risk on herself and it would be her responsibility to have her own insurance. I guess it depends on your relationship too. In short, I don't know but good luck anyway!!

Thanks,

Pony you could trust with your Granny, sharer is novicey but been riding pony since September. I'd just feel awful if anything happened.

I presume you have a share agreement? I have one for my sharer and it clearly states that riding is a high risk activity and that it is the riders responsibility to ensure that they have adequate insurance.

As Jellicle says they know the risks and is their own decision to if they ride or not. I would feel terrible is anything happened, but it would not be your fault!
