It's a power nap, the pony I used to accompany out hunting used to snooze at port stops! ? He was always ready and raring to go after his nap though!!

My old boy was a funny old so-and-so when it came to being ridden. As soon as I appeared with his tack, he would turn around and stand with his backside right against the stable door. However, as soon as his bridle was on, he would literally be clambering to get out of his stable!

Funny old things, horses aren't they?! :)

Might just be a power nap to top up his beans levels for shenanigans and hi-jinx ?
I think he's a bit tired after yesterday - we went in the school for the first time in about a year! Only walk, but did a lot of lateral work, as he was busting to do some of his moves. I ache today, so I suspect he does too!
he has you well trained
Absolutely - but I figure that he's 23 and has worked hard all his life, so he doesn't have to work if he wants to snooze nowadays!
